As per government announcements made on 31st October 2020, our hotel is mandated to operate with limited service as part of a national lockdown beginning from Thursday 5th November until Wednesday 2nd December.
We will continue to be open for key and essential workers, plus anybody required to travel for work purposes.
Our Dine At Home menu is available to all guests as delivery* or take away.
We are still accepting dining, accommodation and event reservations for leisure guests in December. Please contact our Guest Services team for more information.

Van Dyk by Wildes will be remaining in Tier-1 of lockdown restrictions following the changes on Saturday 17th October 2020.
Please note that we operate under Bolsover Council and are NOT classed in the areas of Chesterfield, Erewash or North East Derbyshire.
We are open as usual under Tier-1 and are Covid-19 Compliant.

As it has always been, the safety and security of our guests and team members remain our highest priority. We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. In response to Coronavirus, there will be strict social distancing measures and hygiene checks in place to welcome all of our guests back from Saturday 4th July 2020, in line with Government guidelines.

After the announcement from our Government at 17:00pm this evening regarding the instruction of all bars, cafes, restaurants, pubs, theatres and gyms to close from 12pm tonight. We are regrettably forced to inform all of our valued guests that we will be closing all of our restaurants, bars and event suites until we are informed otherwise by the authorities, and unfortunately, we have no clear timescale to when this will be. Our Team are currently dealing with all immediate bookings to accommodate them at a later date. Should you have a booking with us after 8 weeks from todays date, we are not in a position to offer alternatives at this stage as we would be hoping to be operating fully at this point. However, if you do have a booking between now and then, our team will be contacting you to advise you on the next steps over the next few days.

I would like to confirm that our “Dine at Home” service will still be operating as usual from 9am until 9pm daily with our Loyalty Club guests still receiving 40% OFF Food & Drink delivery orders and 50% OFF Food & Drink collection orders. To order please call our Guest Services team on 01246 387386 who will be happy to take your order.
Any wedding bookings that will be impacted up until 30th April 2020 will be contacted by one of our wedding co-ordinators over the next few days with further information and options once we understand more from our local authority.
Van Dyk by Wildes will remain open, for room bookings only with an option for room service until we are advised otherwise by the local authority or by the government.
